Fire Pit Safety Screens
All Fire pits should have some sort of a safety spark catching screen. Most fire pits come with screens and most of the safety screens I have seen are less then quality. It seems the safety screens are made just well to so the manufacture can say "It comes with a safety screen". But it's better then no safety screen at all. These safety screens will wear out. We sell replacements and we custom make safety screens for any size fire pit. And I woulld also recommend our safey gloves.
Our stock made safety screens are very well made for the money. They are
made of a heavy steel screen mesh and with a steel frame to support the
screen. It comes in two pieces that will require some assembly two screws
that attaches the two pieces of the safety screen. Once assembled the safety
screen will fold open for easy access. It makes it easy to add more firewood
and to stoke the fire. Our fire pit safety screens
are also taller. This is important because it raises the safety screen further
away from the fire. This will add longer life to the safety screen. Most
other screens I have seen are short. This makes the useless because you
can't put a fire in the pit with the screen on, it just doesn't fit.
The reason the other fire pit safety screens are shorter is so they can
fit in the same box as the fire pit and they can be shipped together in
one box. Our screens are boxed separately therefore they are not an oversize
package.
Our safety screens come in three sizes 36" in diameter, 30" and 24"
These sizes are the measurements of the FIRE PITS
NOT THE SIZE OF THE ACTUAL SAFETY SCREEN or copper cover.
Example: Our 36" screen fits a fire pit that has a diameter of 36" the actual
diameter of the screen and copper lid is 30"
Our 30" screen fits a fire pit that has a diameter of 30" the actual diameter
of the screen and copper lid is 24"
Our 24" screen fits a fire pit that has a diameter of 24" the actual diameter
of the screen and copper lid is 19".
